2017 Executive’s Ball Toyota Prius Raffle

It’s back! The Executive’s Ball will once again be holding a car raffle to raise funds for the 2017 Executive’s Ball. This year we will raffle a 2017 Toyota Prius C (winner to select color). Your ticket purchase supports the County’s arts and humanities organizations and gives you a chance to win a car.
In addition, this year we have added additional prizes for even more chances for you to win. Courtesy of the Washington Nationals, we will have as a first prize Four (4) Washington Nationals Delta Sky360 Club Game Tickets (which includes one Parking Pass). These are not your ordinary tickets! According to those who have been guests of the Sky360 Club (previously known as the Lexus Presidents Club), this is one of best professional sporting event experiences ever!

How can your raffle ticket purchase can support your favorite arts/humanities organization? Here’s how:
For every raffle ticket purchased from one of the organizations listed below or on its behalf, half of each ticket price ($25) goes directly to that organization. This year, thanks to a matching grant we have, that organization will receive another $25. This means that for every $50 ticket you purchase on behalf of your favorite arts or humanities organization, it will receive $50 back!
For example, if you purchase two (2) tickets at $50 each for $100 from an organization that organization will receive $100 back as a grant ($50 from the Ball, and $50 from our matching grant). It adds up fast–so please consider supporting your favorite organization by buying raffle tickets.
Below is a list of organizations that have participated in the Raffle. If you don’t see your favorite organization, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to see if they are participating. Organizations should in 501c3 organizations serving Montgomery County.

2017 Toyota Prius Raffle FAQ’s
Q: Where do the car Raffle proceeds go?
A: All proceeds from the car raffle and the Executive’s Ball support arts and humanities educational programs in Montgomery County.
Q: What are my odds of winning?
A: The odds of winning are no less than 1-in-2,500, and will vary based on the number of entries.
Q: What is the cost of a car raffle ticket?
A: Individual tickets are $50 each.
Q: How do I purchase a car raffle ticket?
A: You may purchase a ticket online or through one of the many participating cultural organizations in the County. You may also buy a ticket on the night of the Ball at the North Bethesda Marriott after December 1.
Q: How do I know my online raffle entry was received?
A: Once you complete your transaction, you will receive an automatically generated confirmation e-mail from the Community Foundation for Montgomery County. This will serve as your ticket receipt/stub.
Q: What is the deadline for buying tickets?
A: The raffle will run from September 1, 2017 until December 3, 2017 (online sales will close on Friday, December 1 at 5:00 pm) or until 2,500 tickets are sold, whichever comes first. The drawing will be held at the Executive’s Ball on Sunday, December 3 at approximately 9:00 pm, but the winner need not be present to win.
Q: What happens if 2,500 tickets are sold prior to the closing date of December 3?
A: If 2,500 tickets are sold prior to December 3, 2017, raffle sales will close and further entries will be refused.
Q: Is my ticket purchase tax deductible?
A: No. The purchase of a raffle ticket is not considered a tax-deductible donation.
Q: Where will the drawing take place?
A: The drawing will take place at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, 5701 Marinelli Drive, North Bethesda, MD 20850
Q: Do I need to be present to win?
A: No. If you have a winning ticket and are not present, you will be notified by phone and/or e-mail.
Q: If I win, are there any other costs involved?
A: Yes. The winner is responsible for all income and sales tax, license, registration, delivery, and fees.
Q:Is there a cash option in lieu of the car?
Q: If I win, will I be able to choose the color?
A: Yes. The winner is will be able to choose from the standard available colors for the Prius.
