Thank you for your interest in the Montgomery County Executive’s Ball!

A completely volunteer-run event, the Ball brings together several arts and humanities organizations to support, sustain, and promote the cultural assets of Montgomery County, Md.

Sunday, December 4, saw the 26^th annual Montgomery County Executive’s Ball take place at the Bethesda North Marriott Conference Center in Bethesda, Md. The 2011 Ball, “One for the Books,” was co-chaired by Montgomery County First Lady Catherine Leggett along with Mary Kane, president/CEO of Sister Cities International and former Maryland Secretary of State, and funded entirely by private and corporate donations.

Funds raised from the 2011 Ball will go towards supporting the Montgomery County Public Libraries.

MCPL is the County’s award-winning library system, which has earned a 3-star rating in the Library Journal Index of Public Library Service, a public library national rating system. Providing information and reference assistance to over 8 million customers a year, MCPL continues to provide high-quality service to our county residents in the face of our nation’s recession.
